Kind of at a loss here.

Interview Nov 16, 2018 for K1 in London

Placed into Nonimmigrant ap since Nov 19 2018

Status has not been updated once not when responding to us nor when responding to my senator's inquiry nor the attached email.

I (US Citizen) moved a few weeks ago and trying to be proactive we sent them the new intended address for my fiance when they informed us on January 15, 2019 that the visa has been issued. Still, our case says AP no case updates not been touched. It's been two weeks. What gives? Nobody over in the UK forum can help out as they all get their visas back in a week or so or at least have regular updates.

How can they tell us via email we've been issued and provide no CEAC updates?

Since then they've ignored every email and we cannot call about case status.

Thanks.

What was the response you received via congressional or senator inquiry?

Have you contacted the ombudsman? (Might want to do that quickly while the government is currently open for the time being)

Was there anything unusual about your case? Prior criminal or drug/alcohol use? Born in a foreign country?

You've posted this in the waivers forum.. was there a waiver filed making this a more complex case?

The response to the senator was very generic "subject to additional processing, no way to expedite" this was back in late December so we were still under 60 days AP (I jumped the gun a bit reaching out to my rep).

I have not contacted ombudsman.

Nothing unusual, no trace on ACRO, no drug or alcohol use. My fiance was born in the UK his dad was born in Jamaica but immigrated and was naturalized long time ago.

No waivers no 221g issued I posted here since it's forum regarding administrative processes and we've been stuck in AP without any request for additional information, no form given, I've exhausted my efforts in the UK forum and I figured this one has a lot more experience with all the variables of AP.. Is no status update whatsoever common, even when responding to emails? I thought that it was supposed to update even if they just opened the file and closed it.

Apparently this has never ever happened to anyone else on these boards? Yesterday morning I received an email saying we are subject to AP (same generic response).
