Mohamed told me that - the 2/3 week thing.. So i told him "I think they just say that to everyone.. I think it normally takes 3/4 months" He was like "but they told me 2/ 3 weeks!!! "

Oh well.. Of course that would completely ROCK if it was that short (like ALL the OTHER embassies!!!!!)

It sucks that they tell all this Bull Poopy.. My husband always takes peoples word..

Mo took their word for it, too. He was convinced that it would only take a month. Even though I told him it would take longer.

i would think its a sitch of dayumed if they do, dayumed if they dont. they give you an estimate because they KNOW you're going to ask. imagine the upset involved if they said "we will call you - no additional information available at this time". they give you an estimate to get you out of there. Imagine the opposite sitch if they told you, this review may take 4, 6, 8 months. like I said, they are dayumed if they do, dayumed if they dont. they are not doing this to blatantly make our lived miserable.

I would much prefer hearing 4-6 mos. then them lowballing it so much. Sure I'd get upset but I'd at least know I was being told a more accurate time frame and plan accordingly. Some ppl do prefer having sunshine blown up their azzes. I'm not one of them.
