i got my passport back with 221 g

m in this  situation i had my interview on noveber 29th i got 221 g asking for new joint sponsor they told me submit the documents and send us the passport so i did on december 4th and on january 23  they sent my passport with no visa and olso 221 g form marked with only administrative processing any suggestions for me u can give ?

It's standard AP. It can took few days, a month, or.... Embassy should contact you again if they issue the visa.

They sent your passport back to you?  If so, there's really nothing you can do until they contact you and instruct you to send it back to them.  Unfortunately, there is no way to estimate how long that will take.......

Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks.  tho months or years depend on every case in Embassy tho background check investigation relations family, name check tho FBI ,  Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days. Under the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act .

but if sent my passport back that means it can take really long otherwise they would kept it

what about my medical exam what if it gets expired

Difficult to say.  Administrative process is open-ended.  It can be days, weeks, months, or even more than a year.
