My guess is your interview is NOT canceled. You try calling (or emailing if that's how the Caracas embassy works) to verify this. Or just show up for your appointment.  If you call or email and don't get a response, just show up. Good luck.

The embassy sent an email notifying the appointment was cancelled. So yes the appointment is cancelled.  Thanks for the good wishes.
