I was talking to my fiancee about the interview and she brought to my attention something that was in her packet. It says that 380.00 dollars is due for her visa. It goes on to say that I have most likely already paid this and that the actual amount will be 45.00. I have heard nothing about this before and thought that the only money due was the 100.00 interview fee. Can somebody please clarify this for me because her interview is on the fourth and I want to make sure she's ready. Thanks a bunch!

They use the same check list form for the Nonimmigrant K-Visas as they do for the Immigrant visas like CR-1 or IR-1. The $380 is the fee for the immigrant visas, it covers the biometrics, and green-card generation.

You will be paying that fee later after you marry and file for AOS (I-485)

Nonimmigrant K-visas pay $100 to the consulate for the visa.

“K” nonimmigrant visa applicants must pay a non-refundable application fee of US$100 dollars or

its equivalent in Philippine peso at the prevailing exchange rate. The fee can be paid at any of the

designated banks listed below. Payment is valid for one year.
