Hi Ma'am, thanks for writing to my cry for help here.

Actually, I did upload the documents (joint sponsor I864) in "additional documents" under the existing sponsors on ceac web portal and left a comment saying that it was for the "joint sponsor" and they did see it also but DID NOT accept it. They said we needed to upload it in the correct tab, which is not there. They did not direct us to where the "correct tab" is.

What I can tell you is that solution to your problem is going to come from NVC and not the consulate. So you call NVC and request them to reopen the add a joint sponsor tab for your CEAC portal. 

NVC, Has nothing to do with your case once its send to embassy , only embassy handle case documents request after interview ,

Yes we had interview on 17th september and in AP from that date to till.

Our joint sponsor was also accepted, the second time actually, the first time they didnt accept and never told us why, but the second time they accepted and asked to re send only I864 which we are trying very hard to send but USTRAVELDOCS refused to deliver for us. 

We are also in AP for almost 2 months now.

No reason. Just got email that your case is refused for Administrative Processing

I did call NVC here and after 45 mins of being kept on hold, they said that after the interview the local embassy handles the case and they don't have controls over it. I tried to push them for help but they did not offer any help whatsoever and told me to contact the embassy. The reason they gave me was that after the interview, they are off the case which makes no sense because they can still remotely control the web portal, right?

Was your issue resolved? Did you get the visa? 

 

Hi am facing the same problem, we mailed the documents for new joint sponsor to the US embassy and now they have returned the documents asking them to be uploaded to the CEAC website, how did u do it?

Wondering the same.  How do you upload new documents to CEAC if you can't add a new joint sponsor in the CEAC system?
