Hi Guys !

Just a quick question. Getting ready to arrange my documents for mailing and a kind of confused on how to attach the Avery Tab Dividers to my documents. Do I need to make two hole punches on the tab and each document attaching with the tab ( for instance: marriage certificate, car title, insurances etc)

Thanks guys

do not bother with tab dividers and no hole punching, everything will be disassembled and scanned into the system

just put a cover letter on top which clearly identifies all the documents enclosed along with the order

I top-punched (two-hole) and used Acco fasteners.  I had five sections, and had a cover page on each section with a Table of Contents.  Yes, your packages will be dis-assembled and scanned in.  I personally felt that the Acco fasteners kept any lose papers from falling out and getting "lost". YMMV.

At one point (before scanning), USCIS preferred the two-hole punch/Acco fasteners.  Hopefully soon, we will be able to send documents electronically, and it won't matter any more!

So assembling them in order of the cover sheet, and securing them with a large binder clip will work?  That's what I plan to do....

Don't overthink it.  Include a cover sheet and keep them in the order that you listed them out to make it easier.  Then use a large clip to keep everything from falling all over the place.

I did not find explicit tips for I-751, but i used this link

https://www.uscis.gov/forms-filing-tips

01/09/2019  Mailed ROC package via FEDEX to Lewisville,Texas

01/11/2019  Package delivered to USCIS office

01/16/2019  Received text message with service center as SRC

01/17/2019  Status on https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ as accepted. Check submitted electronically to my bank. Not cashed yet.

01/18/2019  Check cashed electronically.

02/07/2019  Called USCIS regarding non delivery of receipt . They asked me to call back after 30 days have expired since delivery

02/11/2019  Called USCIS again regarding non delivery of receipt. Mentioned that license will expire along with greencard on 02/28.

The lady filed a request on my behalf so i could schedule infopass.

                        I separately also filed e-request(https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDNForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=ndn

by choosing I-751 and other option , before calling USCIS just in case.

02/13/2019 Got callback from USCIS that infopass cannot be scheduled, but they will mail

                       a duplicate notice.

11/08/2019 Biometrics got completed

03/24/2020 Case status got changed to card being produced
