Hiii!

(Hopefully this is in the right topic!)

So because I've been in Limbo (waiting) for close to 20months now I'm getting a little fidgeting.. finally lol

Anyway I'd really love to hear experiences from you guys regarding the i751 and the request for evidence timeline

My timeline

Filed May 2017

Received at the CSC June 2nd 2017

Biometrics June 26th 2017

I551 passport stamp May 30th 2018

Request for evidence October 2nd 2018

RFE response sent out December 6th 2018

RFE response received on December 10th 2018

So it's only been 43days since they received it.

Alright i think that's it. So I know the rfe letter says to call after 60days if you dont hear anything but i assume that because of the blacklock it's going to be longer.

If anyone who has/had their case at CSC and received a RFE and been approved or is still waiting would you let me know how long between when they got your RFE response and then you got approved? Or how long you have been waiting also?

Just trying to get a gasp on what the timeline is like for after sending out the RFE

Thanks in advance 👍🙂

I am and would have applied for the n400 last year if I hadnt been traveling then I would have been able to cover the cost of the fee for it. I'm already pretty much at 20months so I thought I would wait until something happened with my i751 whether it be an interview or being approved before considering filling this year. I wanted to apply in 2020 after being approved so I could save and take a break from wiaitng lol

Ah really you think so? That would be super crappy.

I dont mind having an interview at all it's the waiting around for them to transfer it and make an appointment. I mean it's already been well over a month I assume if so they would transfer my case to my local office soon.

My request for evidence was only for one thing - more "joint financial responsibility" evidence which is a dumb thing to show that a marriage was in good faith but whatever. Anyway we sent pretty much everything they listed and more recent things like photos etc the financial stuff is difficult as I dont work but my husband does so he does the bills🤔

Anyway any idea if they are wanting to do an interview how long it'll be until they transfer it or schedule an appointment it would be awful if I had to wait months just for that 😅
