Ok i cant find a related news article so i will try to repeat:

One thing you can watch for with these high gas prices is to see that you are useing the correct or best pump.

On each pump is the state inspection calibration sticker apparently this tell how accurately each pump disperses the gas.

Its a white sticker and on each sticker it gives the different grades.

On each grade it can have a + which would tell you on this grade you will get just a litle more than required +5

If -3 means you will get little less

0 means the calibration is right on its mark

so look at the pump, look for your grade, and you will know if you are getting your moneys worth

(hope i repeated it correctly) but i think you would get the idea
