Hello everyone!

I just wanna tell you guys that our NOA2 arrived last week! my finacee and me are super super excited and can't wait to be together... anyone knows whats next? just waiting for the NVC number? Do you know how long it takes to get that number?

Ours took 3 weeks from our NOA2. I’d suggest following the July K1 NOA2 > NVC thread to find people with similar NOA2 dates. That helped us estimate better when to call to get the case # because people with dates similar to us were getting theirs.

Ok perfect! thanks :D! but when the time comes, do we have to call them or are they gonna inform us our NVC  case number? cuz as I understand, they are gonna notify us the number, am I correct?

No you don’t have to call if you don’t want to. They should email you a letter with case # once it’s in transit to BA. You’ll also get an email from the embassy when they’ve processed it and are ready to schedule the interview. The reason people like to call is because the sooner you get the case # the sooner you can start tracking it. In the end it’s your choice how hands on you want to be 😌

If you call them it doesn’t make things faster. That’s way it can take 2-6 weeks. Shipments to embassy are every other Tuesday. Check on a general thread about what’s going on right know. You can look here in VJ ‘July NOA2 > NVC’ something like that. There will be a lot of people waiting for the number and you will have a better knowledge about timeline.

You can call and know the case number or wait until the email you saying the case left NVC to go the embassy. That was my case. I never called once. I got the email after 2 weeks and it was at the embassy after 3 weeks.

Hey I have another question: I don't have the influenza vaccine and i know is a requirement for the medical examination, do you think is better (in money terms) to get it before the medical check or should I wait until i get there?

This is a personal preference.  Also, it depends on the medical benefits you may or may not have (depending if your spouse has insurance and can include you in it).

You can go to any public in Argentina and get it for free. If you can complete your vaccines there, the better in my advice.

I think is better to have that taking care of and focus on the rest of the AOS paperwork when you get here.

But is your call afterall.

Hello guys, I have a question after sent the copies of P3 to the embassy I need to wait them for a interview date or I can schedule a date?

You get the P3 instructions from the embassy in Argentina, which should list the steps on how to schedule an interview.

Follow the steps to schedule the interview. If there are no dates available, email the embassy and they will open dates.
