Gosh, I hope it goes well for you! My fiance and I definitely considered doing this. But we decided that it felt wrong to check the box saying that we had received an invitation from the embassy to sign up for an interview date (since we haven't received the P3 yet). I'm getting so antsy. The embassy received our paperwork one week ago. I was really hoping we'd get the P3 email today. But no luck so far, and the status on CEAC is still "in transit." If we still don't have the email by tomorrow I'm going to have a very unhappy holiday weekend... :(

If it blows-up on us, its totally my fault. I told her to go for it after the people she met with at the appointment mentioned there troubles and about not hearing anything, as well as reading up that it's quite common at other embassy's  as long as the appointment date gives them time to review the information.. Do I regret it now, yes and no,  she dropped off the paperwork today and they accepted(Not sure that means anything,  but that was totally her call since she was so excited), so I figure at this point we dug the hole, so we will ether regret it, or be happy we did it, I am hopping for the latter as we meant no disrespect and didn't bombard them with requests which would serve the purpose of slowing them down in my opinion. If we knew what we needed to do, we figured why not do it. We will see, fingers crossed for the both of us and to a great weekend ahead. ( I fly out to see her Saturday.)

Don’t lose your hope! You have a really good timeline. This is the last part of waiting. Everything will be over soon!

You have your P3 ready, so as soon as you receive the e-mail, you are ready to go.  So, don't sweat it!  I know it is hard, but I believe everything happens in the time that it needs to so things fall together right.  Keep the hope!

HOla gente.

My fiance delivered the P3 personally today at Ave Colombia.  FYI, the envelope cannot be sealed (unlike others have said).  Either way, we suggest you keep the envelope without sealing and seal it there if it is needed.  Or, like we did, seal it, and open it in front of the officer if they say it needs to be opened.  :)   My fiance took his DNI, passport, and embassy e-mail with P# just in case, but he did not need any of that.

We put this on the envelope:

Upper-left-hand corner:  Beneficiary's name and address

On the center:  U.S. Embassy

Consular Section - Immigrant Visa Unit

                           Avda. Colombia 4300

                           C14256MN Buenos Aires, Argentina

NVC Case:  ABC2019123456 **Using random numbers and letters as an example.**

Posting here as well in case others are not following the thread for the P3 (which you should 😉).

Ahh! Yes, mine too! It looks like that happened right at the same time that I was sending an email to the embassy asking (nicely!) if we might be able to get our invitation to schedule an interview appointment.

I just hope this means that the P3 email arrives today. I can't remember how much of a lag there usually is between the "ready" status and the email.

For me it took 2 days from the Ready to the email. But I’ve seen other people in this thread having to wait more than a week.

I know is hard but don’t get stressed about the waiting. Things are moving. This is the last stage! Keep you hopes up!

You should check your email.  My fiancé got her p3 :)
