So, my packet shows on DHL as being delivered and signed at the security point by “Liz”. I guess this means the security at the embassy where you can also drop off P3? Is my assumption correct?

It can mean that. Mine was signed by ‘Cristian’. I emailed the embassy asking if they receive it.

Do you have the e-mail so that I can email them or can I just go to the website?

 

Update: Never mind, I found the info. For the rest, again, the e-mail is: BuenosAires-IV@state.gov

Ahora para apostillar documentos en la cancilleria en Capital Federal BS.AS, se precisa sacar un turno previo online, no se puede ir directamente como antes por orden de llegada. A mi papa le dieron turno para el 22 de mayo en la cancilleria. Tramitandolo en el horario de la mañana te lo entregan en el dia. Costo:$300 pesos Argentinos.

 

B. Option 2

Ahora se habilitaron Los colegios de escribanos para apostillar documentos. (La info esta en la misma pagina de la cancilleria). Te lo entregan en 5 dias habiles. Costo:$700 pesos Argentinos. En mi caso, soy de Buenos Aires delegacion Lomas de Zamora, asique mi papa tiene un lugar cerca de su casa para ir y no esperar 1mes para apostillarlo. 

 

Translation:

 

Yo trabaje con una traductora que encontre en el colegio de traductores publicos. Ella trabajo traduciendo las pruebas de mi packet, trabaja bien y rapido. Su nombre es Maria Virginia Agustini, phone office: 48131348. Ella realiza la traduccion del acta con apostilla en 48hs y lo lleva a legalize al colegio de traductores publicos. el costo de traduccion es: $1000 pesos Argentinos + $400 pesos Argentinos de legalizacion. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Gracias por la informacion! Este mes iba a pedir uno nuevo mi novia para apostillarlo y traducirlo. Cualquier cosa que la traductora de ellos no aparezca rapido o pueda hacer el trabajo rapido, le voy a pasar la info de la que pusiste aca.

Podemos hacer esto imprimiendo el digital o es mejor pedir otro nuevo fisico en Buenos Aires?

Yo personalmente no imprimiria porque ahi ya no seria considerado mas el original.

Buenos, supongo que usaremos ese para otras cosas y pediremos el fisico cuando estemos alla.  Igual el tiene el suyo original pero queremos otro para tener dos, ademas del digital.  Gracias.

Podes usar el digital, pero tendrías que ir a legalizarlo a un registro civil.

 Gente, en el foro de AOS puse información de mi experiencia de como apostillar y traducir en el interior del país. Espero que les sirva y si tienen más info agréguenla que todo es útil!

OK, so our case is READY!  What?!  We are waiting on the official e-mail with packet 3 instructions.  But, I feel like we are good to go ahead and schedule the interview, correct?  Just to have a decent date.

I think everyone here waited until the embassy email. In it, the embassy say that they are ready for your case, meaning you can schedule it and send P3. 

You can email them asking for next steps telling you tracked the case and it shows Ready. I'm saying this because they can give you two answer. For example, 1: they can email you the Instructions Packet with the next steps like happen to me, or 2: they can tell you to wait until they can take your case (this happend to a lot of people from this thread.If you maybe search through the pages you will find it, I can't remember who was right now)
