Yes as long as you know the relationship is legit and you have all the papers you should not over stress (I know it sounds easy to say it xD). All I know so far is her interview was less than 5 minutes :D

Hey guys so this is what I gathered from how her interview went. She waited two hours before the interview started. In those two hours I believe they took the fingerprints. The interview didn't last long at all, around 5 minutes. It was conducted in Spanish. My fiance said the first few words in Spanish and she thinks the agent just followed along on Spanish. The questions she was asked were stuff like what is my full name? What I do for a living? Where will she be living (which state city)?. The agent knew she is an architect graduate so she asked her if she was going to pursue the career here and what she needed to do and such (she thinks the agent was just being curious and friendly I guess). Then she was asked one or two questions about our relationship meet up in the last 2 years. So as long as you know what you wrote on yours it should be good haha. Then her visa was approved and now she has to wait 10 days I believe until she can pick it up at the Santa Fe location.

Hope this helps some of you guys. Cheers!

It seems she got a nice consul! Happy for you guys!

check through the CEAC website to see when it is issued, and then when you receive the email from DHL you can track through there.

I had the interview on Thursday, the visa was issued on Friday and yesterday (monday) got the email with the DHL tracker saying the packet was in transit to Córdoba. It seems it will arrived before ten bussiness days

Hello all! HUGE congratulations to all of you who have gotten approved recently! I'm so excited for you. And thank you so much for sharing your experiences. Based on everything you all have taught us, I'm pretty sure that my fiance Lucas and I will be able to get everything done/scheduled several weeks faster than we otherwise would've have. (Originally we thought we'd need to wait until the embassy received our case before contacting Dra Grillo, for instance -- but now we know we can be more efficient about it, and schedule the medical in advance.)

My fiance and I just got assigned an NVC number yesterday. So it seems very likely that our case will get shipped down to the embassy in the May 14th mailing. Coincidentally, Lucas was already planning to fly to the US to visit me on May 15th using his tourist visa. (We never imagined we'd be past the NOA2 stage by now!) His flight to the US is from Buenos Aires, so we were thinking he should try to get the medical done while he's there. So here's what we're thinking for a timeline. Does this sound crazy?

May 14th: Lucas goes from Cordoba to BA and does the medical with Dra. Grillo

May 15th: Lucas flies to the US using his tourist visa. He brings everything he will need to respond to the P3 instructions.

May 20th: The embassy probably receives our case on our near this date, and emails us the P3 instructions soon after

May 21st: Lucas and I are together in the US at this point, but we DHL all the P3 stuff to Buenos Aires. We also look for interview dates sometime for, like, June 15th or later to give the embassy plenty of time to receive and process our P3 paperwork. Then we adjust Lucas's return ticket (currently mid-July) to be just in time for his interview in BA!

Are we crazy?

It sounds a bit crazy. You have to wait until the embassy send you the email to schedule the medical exam and receive the instructions.

Since the next shipment will be May 14th and he leaves the next day, it sounds to me the packet will not be ready maybe until May 17th and then the embassy can email you in the next days with the instructions or take a while like @lily90 case that took around two weeks to get them.

My advice is to wait their times. They are giving the next interview dates to mid june so I don’t think you guys need to rush right now since you are going to be together the next two months.

Ah, okay. I could've sworn that someone on this thread contacted Dra Grillo to schedule their medical appointment *before* their case had landed at the embassy. But maybe I'm misremembering!

We haven't. My fiancee has her medical next week, and we haven't received anything from the embassy yet. So technically we should still be waiting for their email or mail with the P3. I'm still wondering what should we do about that of we don't hear from the embassy by next week.

Our case has been showing ready since February 21. And Feb 27 was the last update to our case online.

Ah yes, here it is. I knew someone had scheduled the medical before receiving the P3. And we know that everything worked out okay! Thanks for the example, Javier. :):):)

Nothing prohibits you from scheduling before the embassy notifies you. I would still recommend that if you do, do it with some time in between everything. In our case we didn't worry much about it afterwards because she had to wait until late April for the interview regardless. So if you guys are wanting to do everything as soon as possible then I would suggest waiting for the embassy to get your stuff and notify you. But again it's not that you can't go and start scheduling the appointments before hand.
