Most embassies will ask the beneficiary if they would like to have their interview with a translator.

Yes Fe.Ta you are correct. That question could come up and should be answered truthfully with how they will communicate. Explaining that you are nervous (listen everyone is nervous at such an important event as the interview is) and they would be better at answering in their native language. It's not a check mark against you UNLESS you do not know any English to communicate with your future spouse. BIG WARNING SIGN for a Co. Plus Google Translate is not going to make a relationship last.

Thanks for the replied people. This definitely helps 😁😁

I don’t think it would be a problem if you ask to do it in English. I just told my experience where no one asked me what I prefered.

Thank you for sharing so many details!  WE appreciate you and everyone that has shared!

I already asked this in a general sense for those that received a NOA2 in March and are waiting for NVC.  But, as far as Argentina, I was wondering if anyone here in the past or currently, had to wait closer to 5-6 weeks or even over for the NVC to receive the case and issue a case number?  I already call them every week several times per week and I keep writing e-mails.  Some of the e-mails have been answered without any luck.  Thoughts?  Suggestions?

I think @lily90 waited 4 weeks to get the case number and around 5-6 for the case to leave NVC.

How long have you been waiting so far?

With NVC you never know. In my case I thought it will take 6 weeks and I was prepared for that and then it took only 2 weeks. We never called or emailed them so I don’t know what suggestion to tell you. For the general forums I read, calling and email are the ways to comunicate with NVC and the rest is waiting sadly

Si!  Siempre me atienden.
