I believe we all post in english because people from other countries, as well as the American petitioners needs to understand the information we share from our experiences through this process. I agree if someone needs or wants to say something in Spanish, add the english version just below.

As you all know I'm already approved and  Im helping you, because I would like you to be approved as well, we are not lawers or professionals, we just share our knowledge and experience,we may have done something right through all this to be approved.

Hope somebody here can help me in the near future with the Adjustment of Status process.

You'll do good, believe in yourself and practice for the interview 😊

No estés nerviosa! Ya casi están! Vamos fuerza!!

Question:  Can my fiance start getting his marriage certificate from the "Registro Nacional de las Personas" and his birth certificate as well while we wait on the NVC and case number?  I believe the marriage certificate should not have an expiration date, so I assume we could get that done (unlike the police report).  Just trying to get ahead on some things.  Also, how much do they charge for each?  Is the closest one in Buenos Aires the on at Peron 664?  I did see that it can be done online, but I don't know if the local embassy will take those.

The police certificate can be done online in http://www.dnrec.jus.gov.ar/InicioTramite/ it cost 80 pesos if you are not in hurry. It takes 5 bussiness days to get it done. I did the 24hs one and it costed me 180 pesos.

Is your fiancee divorced? I'm asking because if he is not, you don't need a marriage certificate. Is not needed according to the P3 instructions. If he is divorced he need a divorce certificate.

Does the police certificate expire?  Because I saw that it is recommended to do it after you have the interview date, so that's why I am asking.

No, he is not divorced.   He's never been married. But, @Fernanda R Sanz did mention that she did hers just to have additional documentation of not being married and such.  We would like to do the same.  That's why I was asking. :)
