That certificate legaly states you've never been married before, I did it as well as my fiance because we wanted to show a legal proof that we never married before. It is not a must at all, just consentrate in getting what they ask for in packet 3 and you'll be good 😊

@Lou&Don You should be receiving something like this from the embassy directly with instructions of what you need to gather for your next packet.  In the meantime, you should have all of the documentation needed for the Affidavit of Supports, the DS-160, etc.  If you read through previous posts, there is plenty of information about it.

Yes i did sir jaja, to schedule the medical exam with Dr Grillo anyone know if i can schedule the appointment with her by whatsapp its will be mo easier

Sorry I didn't keep the number on the phone. Dont worry, Her phone number is in the packet3 instructions the embassy sends once your k1 packet arrives at the embassy from NVC. If your case is already at the embassy, you can call or send an email asking for the packet3 instructions so you don't have to wait, I did that.

 

I don't recommend scheduling the medical if your packet is not at the embassy or if you didn't get the packet3 instructions.

The packet 3 is already at the embassy i check it n say ready for the interview. I receive the instructions but i really dont know how to save it. It's like 1553133692

hey guys have a question..in the affidavit of support, all the taxes, etc. has to be signed for the person? in my case my fiance. also do you put all in a folio. because for me look like a lot of paper that i dont understand jajaja so im not shure how split in my folder.

and i dont know if im writting correctly here or im writting in other question. sorry jaja

Because they are asking for the "filed" taxes, it means they want the ones that were submitted to the IRS.  Thus, yes, they should have the signature of the person (I assume your fiance).  I don't think they will believe there were filed if there is no signature on it.  W2s, paystubs, etc. don't have signatures normally, though.

@lily90 my fiance signed the form and every page from the affidavit of support copy packet (he sent me original packet and made a tween packet with copies, he signed and dated every page and our co-sponsor did the samething) will share again my post on this group about how to organize your packet3. That may help you 😊

Whether it is a Resident Income Tax or an Income Tax for a U.S. Citizen, once the paperwork is completed, a signature is required to file the taxes with the IRS.  So, he may have downloaded the wrong thing.  I am a born U.S. Citizen, so I am not familiar with the Resident Income Tax Form, but I do work in the Accounting/Financial field and any filed taxes do have a signature in the finished packet, even when they are filed electronically.  The IRS cannot process and accept income tax returns without a signature acknowledgement from the individual or its representative (i.e. accountant).
