you can read what Fernanda said about it before

Well I added descriptions saying that it was all for gifts. I have a job and I don't need him to send me money so I wanted to use it as prof that he has sent me money for gift reasons.

Thanks

I know it's a red flag if you have been denied for a B1/B2 visa before, but does it affect the K1 visa if you have been denied and then applied again and approved for the B1/B2?

I want to believe it is not a problem but I want to know your opinion and how you think the interviewer will think when reading my information

Did the embassy sent you the case number? If you have it then you are ready to star gathering Packet 3 documents, fill DS 160 and schedule the interview

Did they send you the K1 K3 instructions pdf through email?

No they didnt sent me the case number, they only said that they gonna review our I-129f that could take 10 or 15 nothing more

I don't think it will be a problem. You have to be prepared maybe for the interview at the embassy to answer if they ask you why it was denied. But I don't think it will while submitting I-129F.

Regarding the money transfer if you says is for gifts you can maybe tab that section as 'Money transfer and Gift receipts'

I did my police certificate here in Cordoba yesterday. I'm going to write down how I did it just in case anyone from Cordoba too needs information.

I went to www.dnrec.jus.gov.ar  and tried to do it online. I wasn't able to do it because my finger prints were never taken

In the same website I clicked TRAMITES PARTICULARES, Certificado de Antecedentes Penales ----- INICIA TU TRÁMITE ------ TRAMITE PRESENCIAL

In the page that opens I chose Argentina---Cordoba----Cordoba and the I picked the option ------ Delegación UER Ministerio de Justicia de la Pcia. de Córdoba (COR) in Rosario de Santa Fe 254, Barrio Centro

Then you continue clicking in SIGUIENTE ----- then chose the option to pay $180 pesos to have it in 24 hs

A new page will open where you will complete all your personal information. When you are done, print that form with a copy of your DNI because you will need it for the appointent

To pay the fee you can chose to pay through RAPIPAGO or PAGOMISCUENTAS (save the receipt to take it to the appointment)

You have to had a CIDI account (CIUDADANO DIGITAL) to make an appointment and then you can go to ------turnero.cba.gov.ar/turnos-----

In the TURNERO page, click in RESERVAR TURNOS ONLINE ------- then SEARCH: CERTIFICADO ANTECEDENTES PENALES REINCIDENCIA and chose your date

That's it. I hope it works!

My husband requested his police certificate the same way and I retrieved it via the code they sent to the email. No where on the certificate does it say penales con excepción al artículo 51 de código penal. When he went to his appointment he told them this was for the embassy and he gave them this wording and they said not to worry. Is this correct?

I´m not sure if you have to travel for that. It will be better if you call the Registro Nacional de Reincidencia for your specific case, I believe you should be able to do it in Cordoba as well, please make sure you mention to the RNR representative to do it with excemption on the 51 cod. and explain you need it for the US Embassy for an immigrant k1 visa.

I am trying to get information on the Police Certificate. My husband (beneficiary) received his police certificate from RNR. However, no where on the document does it mention the excemption on 51 code. He did tell them It was for visa at embassy. Thank you.

From what I read in different forums an threads is a mandatory that the police certificate says 'con excepción del artículo 51 de código penal'. I read on a facebook group from someone that missed this and they were in 'administrative processing' for two weeks after the intereview.

If he did it recently, he should reclaim to be corrected it. I specificaly said that it was for the embassy too and the woman that helped me out told e was the first time he was doing this kind of police certificate and did it anyway with everything on it.

He is from Córdoba too? Tell me if I was helpfull or if you need something else :)

@inneedofmyhb remember the police certificate expires in 90 days. It doesn't have to be expired when he enter USA. Just be careful on how early you do it so you don't have to do it twice.

Hey guys, I'm trying not to freak out and I don't really know if I should post here but yesterday my fiance went to see an attorney and she said the cr1 visa is so much better than the k1 because you have the green card approved the sane moment you enter the US. I was a week away from sending the k1 packet.

What I want to know is if any of you got the same advice from an attorney and still decided to go for the k1 and why.

My only objection is that the cr1 takes more time but according to this attorney, it's almost the same as the k1

Thank you so much! You have been very helpful. We didn’t know it expires in 90 days. We thought it was good for 1 year. He will request again when the time is closer. Again, thank you.
