What does this mean? what does this question is about? Any idea? @andreaam

We think it regards about on going communication. Like if you would be sending letter to eachother.

Other thing that is important is to memorize every date you met. For example I went to USA twice, he came to Argentina three times and we met outside our countries twice. So it should be good if I memorize all of those dates since the trip started and ended

Yes, I was thinking the same, he visited me in Buenos Aires and also both traveled to Mexico, and we have a very long relationship so, really need to memorize a lot. Thanks for answering! Testing myself with  this questions makes me feel a lot more confident for the interview.  😃

Yes I feel the same

For me is complicated the part of talking about engagement party and wedding plans because we don't have any of that. So we have to talk a little about it to have a proper answer for the interview

Hi everyone,

I was not able to write earlier but wanted to update everyone that my fiance was able to turn in the packet 3 successfully, and we are eagerly waiting for her embassy interview in early April.

Right now the only concern that we had, and maybe someone else here also has or had before, is after paying for the k1 visa fee, we received a confirmation email that said the following:

"You have successfully scheduled your appointment and paid the K Visa application fee. Here are the details of your transaction.

You must print this instruction page and bring it with you to your consular interview, along with the letter or email you received from the Consular Section."

The part that I bolded above is our current doubt. We are not 100% sure if we were supposed to receive another email of some sort from the embassy, or if it's simply the email that we did receive when the embassy invited us to submit packet 3. I think that it is the latter, that the email we receive from the embassy themselves giving the permission to submit packet 3, is the one we need to print out and take to the embassy?

Any clarification on this would be much appreciated. I am so grateful for this forum and everyone that has helped us out thus far.

Is the email that you received from the embassy with the instructions for Packet 3 attached

In my case it sayed this:

Dear Madam:

The IV Unit in Buenos Aires received the I-129F petition that your fiancée filed on your behalf. Please find attached the instructions and information to apply for the visa. From the date you mail the requested documentation, please allow 10/ 15 business days for the Immigrant Visa Section in Buenos Aires to review the documentation. Please note that we must receive the copies of the required documents before the interview so that we may have the case/ application ready at the time of the interview appointment.

Hopefully is helpfull! Please keep us updated on how the interview goes! I have mine on April 25th :)

Sure! I´ve gone with Dra Grillo and payed:  (Please have in mind this was in February, the dollar was $38 pesos, so this costs could be higher)

1) $2000 AR for Dra Grillo Examination

2) $235 AR for Helth Services (Prestaciones Medicas)
This was a vaccine I didn´t have for the adults mandatory vaccinations. There are no anti flu vaccine in Argentina, at least when I did my medical in February, so didn´t get that eather. Dr Grillo told me I could have it in the U.S, but was not very important for immigrating to the States.
Remember to have your vaccination card (libreta sanitaria) with all the vaccinations you had since birth, it will make your life easy. If you don´t have it, you will need to be inoculated with all the vaccinations required by US goverment, and some of them are very expensive. The guy who entered with me to the 1st interview with Dr Grillo had this issue, hope you don´t.

3) Biochemical Services (Prestaciones Bioquimicas) $232

4) $7000 AR (Biochemical Services) blood and urine test and X- Ray

In my case when I returned 3 hours later for the results, Grillo only got my X-Ray and the vaccination record Form. Dra Grillo send my medica exams to the embassy, and the next day I got an Email from the Embassy letting me know they have my medical examination, so I printed that out as well as copies of the medical receipts (because could not take a picture of the closed envelope)

Hope this helps you out 😃

@Fernanda R Sanz @andreaam I'm hoping that they don't really ask the majority of those questions. To me they appear to be a generic suggestion from lawyers or online forums. Like why would they care to know if you know the color of the car of your fiance? Anyhow, good luck to you guys on your upcoming interviews. I know you will be posting your experiences but I'll just remind you guys to do so just in case haha.

Cheers!

Don't know really, Ive seen interview experiences in visajourney and facebook groups mentioning they asked the beneficiary if the petitioner kneel on one knee when proposed, So in my opinion, the more questions you are ready to answer, the better. Less hard or sorprise questions that make you feel nervous or the worst thing, not knowing what to say.

Don't underestimate the interview because your relationship is real, many real couples are deny because they fail explaining things.

This questions helps a lot to be confident and ready, if you prepair for the experience, it will br easy.

Of course I will! Hope to have good news to every one 😊, let's keep it up and never give up!
