About Affidavit of support, you sent the copies on Packet 3 and then you will bring the original with you to the interview?? or you only will bring originals of birth certificate??

I just don't understand if I have to bring another copy of something I have it on files on a computer. It doesn´t exist anything original or copy because all are digitalized

About proof of relationship, is more photos about us together (the ones we sent in the first packet) or photos between NOA1 and NOA2??

I hope I'm explaining myself

Yes, I will send copies of the affidavits and keep originals for the interview. Will copy a post I did here about how I assembled my packet 3. And will help you to organize yours 😊

Hi everyone! I will add in this post how we assemble the packet 3 for the Embassy, this is just as a guidance for all of you, hope this helps out to be able to check if you have something missing on the packet or if you don´t know how to organice the information. I learned how to do it by watching many videos on youtube.

1) K1/K3 VISA APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS, signed.
2) Cover Letter with table of contents (This is just the same thing you did on I129F petition packet, to let them know what information they will find on the packet)

3)  BENEFICIARY DOCUMENTS:
A) CSC MRV Receipt.
(Also added a copy of the confirmation email of MRV Payment)
B) DS-160 CONFIRMATION
C) BIRTH CERTIFICATE copy
(Mine is translated and appostile, because we sent a copy to the USCIS in the I129F Petition, if you don´t have it translated or appostile for packet3 it is ok, you only need to translate documents if they are in another lenguage that is not English or Spanish, but have in mind that to do AOS in the States, you will need to send a copy of the birth certificate and that one must be translated and appostile to be valid overseas)
D) PASSPORT BIO PAGE copy
E) POLICE CLEARANCE from RNR with expetion of ART 51 of the constitution copy.  (
This exception means you give total permition to the US goverment to call the Registro Nacional de Reincidencia and investigate if you have any police record of jail, If you´d been judged during the last 10 years or any problem with justice. This is what the RNR rep explained to me)
F) CERTIFICATE OF NO PREVIOUS MARRIAGE copy. (This is not a MUST, not included in the k1- k3 original instructions, but my fiance and I decided we wanted to show them by a legal paper that we never been married before)
G) MEDICAL EXAM PICTURE OF CLOSED ENVELOPE (This is to show proof you did your medical exam. In my case, Dr Grillo sent the envelope to the embassy, because the results weren´t ready when I returned to the Trinidad de Palermo. So the embassy sent me an email they received the closed envelope, so I printed out the email and added as a proof I did my medical examination)
H) 2 PASSPORT PICTURES.

4) PETITIONER DOCUMENTS
A) PETITIONER BIRTH CERTIFICATE copy.
B) PASSPORT BIO PAGE copy
C) CERTIFICATE OF NO PREVIOUS MARRIAGE copy
(This is not a MUST, not included in the k1-k3 original instructions, but my fiance and I decided we wanted to show them by a legal paper that we never been married before)
D) NOA1 copy
E) NOA2 copy
F) NVC email copy
(We never received a letter through regular mail, only an Email)

5) AFFIDAVITS OF SUPPORT
A) PETITIONER AFFIDAVIT: I-134 FORM; IRS Transcripts; 1040; W2; Employer Letter; Paystubs; Bank Statements copies.
B) CO-SPONSOR AFFIDAVIT: Birth Certificate copy if it is born in the US, If it is an Immigrant, must show Citizenship Document, also Passport bio page in both cases; I-134 FORM; IRS Transcripts; 1040; W2; Employer Letter; Paystubs; Bank Statements copies.

6) EVIDENCE OF RELATIONSHIP
A) FIANCE LETTER OF INTENT copy from I129F original packet with signature and date updated
(This is not a MUST, not included in the k1-k3 original instructions, but my fiance and I wanted to add this information as a confirmation fo our intention to marry)
B) FIANCEE LETTER OF INTENT copy from I129F original packet with signature and date updated (This is not a MUST, not included in the k1-k3 original instructions, but my fiance and I wanted to add this information as a confirmation fo our intention to marry)
C) HOW WE MET SUPPLEMENT copy from I129F original packet with signatures and date updated (This is not a MUST, not included in the k1-k3 original instructions, but my fiance and I wanted to add this information to confirm that we support our statement)
D) PICTURES OF ALL OUR RELATIONSHIP (My fiance and I have a long relationship, so we added pictures since 2011 until our last meet in person in Mexico in 2018. We added different pictures than the ones we added in the I129F Form, with different friends and family, also pictures together alone, added also when and where the picture was taken, who is in the picture and a short description.
E) Beneficiary and Petitioner Plane Itineraries from our last meet in person within the 7 month waitting period copies.
F) Beneficiary and Petitoner Boarding Passes from our last meet in person copies.
G) Beneficiary and Petitioner Passport Stamps of last meet in person trip copies.
H) Petitioner´s Plane ticket´s reservation for last meet in person copy.
I) Petitioner´s Hotel Reservation for last meet in person copy.
J) Trip Tickets copies.
( We added some of the restaurant, Tour packets, and any tickets that can show which activities you did on your trip together)

7) ON GOING COMMUNICATIONS:   We communicate mostly through what´s app, if you use instagram or skype, add all the sources you use to communicate with your fiance. We decided to add our on going communication since the last time we showed them in the USCIS original packet. For example: We sent the I129F packet in June, so we added communications until May 2018, so for the Packet 3 we added our communications since last weeks of May 2018 until present.)
A) WHATS APP FACETIME CALLS SCREENSHOTS.
B) WHATS APP CALLLOGS SCHREENSHOTS.
C) WHATS APP CHATS

D) ADDITIONAL CONVERSATIONS WITH MY FIANCE´S FAMILY MMEMBERS, AND MY FIANCE HAVING CONVERSATIONS WITH MY FAMILY MEMBERS. (This is not a MUST, but as we added this information in the original I129F packet, we decided to show them we continue having a strong bond with eachother´s family members)
E) FACEBOOK POSTS (We use social media preaty much, so in I129F packet we added facebook posts, to show our relationship is not a secret, and that friends and family know and participate, so we did in the packet 3 as well. This is not a MUST, to add as a proof)

F)  PRESENTS TO ONE ANOTHER:  This is not a MUST, but my fiance sent me a present for my birthday so we added pictures and the currier papers to show proof and also other presents he brought to Mexico when we met in person last year.

G) WEDDING PLANS: We added emails talking about the wedding plans in the US, pictures of the wedding rings we bought in Argentina when we got engaged, and all the wedding plans you may have.

I kept originals in another binder organised just like all this copies for packet3. I know we added a lot of information, but we just did our packet based in what we did on the I129F original packet. We did not hire any lawers and got approved, so hope we will have luck this time.

Also as I said, hope this helps all of you as an example of how to assemble the information. There is specific way to do to assemble the packet, so remember to try to add as much as possible, and then have the originals at the interview, if they don´t ask you for any originals, fine, but you are ready just in case. 😃

Here it is @andreaam, I will have all originals at the interview. Hope this helps. Want to aff tbat today I got a letter from the embassy with the NVC letter, so added that copy instead of the email.

Also there's no specific way to do the packet,😊

@andreaam This is a reply I got from the embassy a couple of weeks ago when I asked them about the Affidavit documents. It makes it sound like you don't even need the originals for the interview. You can always play it safe and bring them

I know I've asked this before and @Fernanda R Sanz answered me about the proof of citizenship in the 134. Looking at how you organized your packet it seems that only the cosponsor needs to be provide citizenship proof, right? Since I'm the sponsor and petitioner I assume I dont have to because I honestly can't find in the 134 instructions where it says to provide proof. I've just supplies my naturalization number in one of the questions.

In the packet 3 instructions about affidavit only says "visa petitioner (US Citizen) will have to complete form I-134.If petitioner does not qualify as a sponsor, a joint-sponsor should also be presented (any US Citizen living in the US or Legal Permanent Resident)". Based on this is why I added proof of joint sponsor citizenship, and in petitioners documents added my fiance's birth certificate just in case, but it is not a must.

When I started in visajourney I used to ask a lot and help very little because didn't know anything about the process, because of the help we got from this site and hard work we got our NOA2 approved.

Now I still ask information, but I try to give as much help as I can to other couples. 😊 thank you! We are all very close to make it

@M and Ed I will have my interview next thursday and I was wondering if you could inlight me with the experience.

Did you do biometrics the day of the interview or you had to go somewhere else before that appointment?

Is there any recomendation about dress code, the consul experience you can say?

Also if any other Argentinian who already passed through the interview could give some advice to successfully pass it, I'll be more than happy to hear your sugestions

No problem. I would still send them an email to make sure that at the interview you can present a copy of the signed 134. I'm not sure if in that response they were referring to bringing a copy of the 134 to the interview. When I asked them I was more concerned if documents like the bank account, current bank balance, and employment letter could be photocopies since those documents are signed too.

Let me know if you send them an email and what they reply.

That's great news, good luck! And no, you only need to go to the embassy that one time and they take your fingerprints there :)

I wore dark high waited jeans and a silk shirt and black stilettos. Not too formal, not trying too hard. My fiance wore jeans and a button up shirt.
