When I went to the Registro de Reincidencias un Tribunales to get my police check, I asked them to specify the art.51 clause. The officer asked me if it was for a US visa, so clearly they're familiar with the process. It was really easy to get.

I used the original acta de nacimiento my mom has. I first submitted a copy with my P3 and then took the original to the interview. They asked for it, saw it and gave it back to me on the spot. Same with old passports.

The appointment date is for the actual interview. No biometrics appointment needed.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

@Javier Mera im going to get the police certificate in Buenos Aires when i have my medical examn. did you have to book an appointment? or just go? and how long take for they gived to you

I'm going to try to do it online like someone said above. I didn't check if it is available but I'll try that option first and if not I'll do it the way you suggested

I believe my fiancee just went to request it and it took them 5 working days for them to have it ready. I'll get back to you when I can ask her today to verify that I'm not lying to you haha.

The packet that you deliver to the Embassy can contain all Copies of documents. Even documents that are signed can be Copies in the Packet and they will accept it. At the interview you will present your original documents.

For the proof of relationship what we are going to do is include a few photos in the Packet, some airline tickets from a previous trip, and our letters of intent from the original petition even if it's not required. For the interview my fiancee plans to take more photos of our previous meetings and chat logs from WhatsApp.

You can also refer to an older post of @Fernanda R Sanz where she detailed how she assembled her packet and it goes really into detail.

She said for the police certificate she just showed up to the location in Puerto Madero and just had her DNI and in 5 days looks like you have to go back to get your certificate.

For the reincidencia (I think its the RNR thing) looks like you have to go to the website, get an appointment and show up at the location in calle Tucuman.

Hope this helps.

I checked the ceac tracker again today and seems that today they updated our case again. Hopefully the embassy email is sent this week.

Finally we got the email from the embassy! I'm so relieved.

Thanks! We were wondering that just now. In theory if we try to book an appointment for mid april it should be ok, right? We plan on delivering the Packet next monday.

I think you should allow between 8-10 business to drop the packet 3 before the interview.

When you schedule it tell us what dates are available :)

Did your fiance do the medical exam? If so, how much was the total in argentinian pesos?

I read this in the embassy website but I want to check if it is correct

MEDICAL EXAMINATION FEE (Dr. Kelly and Dr. Grillo): $2000 Argentine Pesos.
Blood Test (VDRL): $ 232 Pesos
Chest X-Ray: $ 295 Pesos
PPD: $ 253 Pesos
Gonorrhea test (applicants 15 years or older is mandatory): US$ 175 (fee in US Dollars)
Sputum Smears and Cultures: $ 2429 Pesos

THANKSSS :)

That's what the instructions say on this email we got today that is best to wait 10/15 days in between P3 drop off and Interview Appointment. But what we were thinking is if we book an appointment for mid april or later we should have plenty of time after dropping of the P3 on Monday 18th. I'll let you know what we find this week about appointments.

I'll keep you updated with the prices once she has her medical on this Thursday.

We just paid the Visa fee without any major problems on the website. I believe she did everything using a visa credit card without any issues.

@andreaam Also she booked April 29th for the appointment at 10:30am and she said it was the only appointment day available.
