Hi friends, we submitted the required documents needed for my Fiance after his interview but CEAC still says ready and only the date has been changed since after it went to the NVC stage prior to the interview. Am kinda confused why the date was updated after the embassy received the needed documents but it  still says  READY.

When was the interview and when did you submit the documents? 221G was a request for additional documents only? Also, today is MLK day so nothing will happen till tomorrow. It can take a few days for the status to change after a decision is made.

Thanks for your reply. Interview was Dec27th 2018, we submitted documents Jan 14th 2019,  Ceac got updated on the 16th January 2 days after just the date

That just means they touched your case. Was the 221G just for submitting missing documents or does it also say he is in AP? Everyone goes through AP, but if you get a 221G with that it means they need to do more thorough AP (screening etc) Nigeria is a high fraud country, so it can take a while.

police report from Korean where my fiance used to reside 14 years ago wasnt ready before the interview, his previous marriage certificate and then his divorce certificate

My fiancé got a 221G and it went from AP to READY to Application received to AP to Issued.  This all happened within 3 business days time.

Hi, I have the same issue. My date was updated 2 days after submitting the required documents at dhl isolo (ir1 category) and its been 4 days now without nothing, still showing administrative processing.
