Processing time

Hi,

 

I have a question regarding processing time. I submitted my papers for my I-751 in November 2017, and the USCIS website tells me they received the petition in my local office (Vermont) in April 2018.

Now, when I see the processing times on VisaJourney, it says that the petition from September 2017 are being processed. My question is: what date does the VisaJourney processing time would take into account in my situation? November 2017 or April 2018?

What's your NOA1 date? That's the date you want to go with. Also keep in mind that the estimates on VJ are based on people's timelines. A lot of people are super inaccurate with their timeline (aka, they don't fill it out once they're approved) so don't hang too much on to those dates. You can check local office processing times on the USCIS website (https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/)
