Hello everyone,

i am in the midst of waiting for the interview letter from the Embassy.  My question is

1. who sends the letter ? Embassy or NVC?

2. How long do they take to send the letter?

3. Is the Visa centre and the Embassy Consular effected due to the shut down of the government?

thank you so much everyone...( feeling stressed)

No, embassies aren't being affected by the Government shutdown, though you may want to go on your local embassy's website to see if they have any news - my embassy in London has an article that says the shutdown hasn't affected immigration proceedings.

The NVC sent me a letter/email confirming an interview has been scheduled and that they passed the case onto the embassy.

I got my email about 10 days after I completed my case at the NVC. I haven't got an actual, physical letter in the mail yet though.
