If you get 26 hours EVERY week for 52 weeks, you would only make 20280$ for an entire year time frame.

I heavily recommend a second job, not only to meet the requirements, but for your own financial security for when your fiance comes. A second job shouldn't be to hard as 26 hours a week isn't much in the whole scheme of things.

Do you live home alone? At home with family? Have room mates? Going to school?

The entirety of your living situation, along with your financials can affect the decision.

26 hours a week is full time?  That sounds like part-time work.  Anyway, you will have to find a joint sponsor or get an additional job.  You also should consider the costs of healthcare......Please don't under estimate the additional costs of immigration.  The K-1 is just the beginning.......AOS, ROC, Naturalization are in the near future.

 

I wish you well in your journey.....this will require a great deal of knowledge, planning, time, patience and money.

I would highly recommend a cosponsor then if you can't work a 40 hour week and you're planning on staying in college and living with family. I'm guessing you're staying with your uncle, if not have you asked who ever you're staying with?
