You’ll find people's willingness to be helpful here falls dramatically when posters are perceived to be untruthful and/or leaving out chunks of the story, hence wasting people’s time. Some clarity on the exact situation would be helpful all round.

My brother is the US citizen so I am asking on his behalf. I was not trying to be misleading. I was simply asking from his perspective.

You succeed. Easy enough to ask clearly.

As was mentioned in your last thread, think of it as a retirement option.

Ah ok----would have been better just to say that from the get-go, "I'm asking for my brother" or something to that effect----you can see how threads can easily become confusing when posting from different perspectives (without mentioning it in the OP)...members like to look at older threads to get more meat on the bone when giving advice so they can give more relevant advice :)

So basically, yes you're looking at a 13 year wait or so...

Is there any kind of petition system to expedite the process if all of my family resides in the US? As mentioned earlier, my sister is also a green card holder and my dad is also looking to gain a green card.

No.  People have given you the most accurate answers.  There is no way to speed anything up.  As mentioned earlier, your sister being a green card holder does not matter.

Your sister is not eligible to sponsor you since she is a LPR.  Your father's potential US status is irrelevant since he has no US status at this time, anyhow (and wouldn't be able to sponsor you, anyhow, unless he were a USC).

There's no basis for expedition simply based off most of your family living in the US, sorry.

No I'm not married, although based on everyone's help and advice I'm about to start looking for an American wife.

I'm born and raised in the UK.

Clearly you’re asking for yourself, so, “my brother is a citizen, how long to sponsor me” would have been sufficient and not misleading.

Your dad can petition for you if he gets a green card, as long as you are and remain unmarried. That is currently around a 7 year wait (plus the wait till your dad gets a green card of course) which is probably your fastest route under current circumstances.

There is no “expediting” as an option under family immigration. No-one gets to jump the queue.

What's ironic is that if it was the other way around there would be even less options for siblings from the US to be petitioned by a UK citizen. UK visas for siblings are even more difficult than the US as with most other countries. Many are happy to take the 15+ year wait given the alternative.

UK does not have a sibling option.

I didn't think so, but I did read a provision where they allow relatives (sibling included) to be petitioned if the UK citizen needed a relative to help with care during illness or so.
