Following the lead of many others here, including Steveo, MSU17, Portlander, nyseness, and citizen, I called the RFE number at CSC, asking whether I had an RFE.

It turns out that my petitions were approved on 16 May, although the I-129F hasn't left yet for NVC.

I told the woman at the CSC phoneline that she made my day, which she did. I'll post more about the peculiarities of our journey a little later, but right now I'm very tired (been working nights, will work half a night tonight and transition back to days).

after getting my NOA2s i was hoping that the NVC would have my case as well but they yet do not at of 3:00 p.m. cst on may 22 2007. i think they should get them by next tuesday if they have not left today.

i will call CSC RFE number too...maybe mines approved as well... i doubt it but always worth a try.

island_princess -- I'm guessing that CSC might have my I-129F for maybe another week. Keep in mind that Monday is a holiday in the USA. Maybe an Island Princess would not know that yet

I asked today and the woman said that CSC still had the I-129F and that it was "in process" of being forwarded to NVC.

I'll start calling NVC probably next week. If they don't have it by the end of next week, I might call CSC again, or I might wait a few more days.

If you hear anything, post it!!!

I talked to CSC and was so happy to hear that it was approved 2 weeks ago that I didn't ask about the NOA2. Then, it took me hours to get through to the NVC and they said that they need the NOA2, and that I should start counting out 2 weeks after I recieve the NOA2 before I call them back.

I suspect these delays are not normal, and have to do with the reported "computer glitches". As such, highly unpredictable. Hopefully they will sort them out soon...
