Best of luck

@Rahul thakur,

@An&Ak Thankyou. I hope you both gets yours soon too. If you haven’t contacted congressman yet may be you should try that. I don’t know if that made any difference in our case but things definitely started moving after their enquiry. Ours being Indian Consulate I would think that made an impact as we all know how things work in India.

So close!!! I got mine on the 2nd business day after it was issued.

I definitely recommend a congressional inquiry for the folks that have not yet tried that route--ours moved at lightening speed(relatively) after that and I don't think it was coincidental at all.Good luck to the folks that are waiting!

Just about everyone goes through this process.  Based on the discussions I had with the case officer he informed me of the steps to complete the processing of your visa:

the first AP is the immigration unit doing the paperwork for approving the visa

the first ready is a notice that they are finished and the paperwork is being sent for visa issuance

the second AP is the visa issuance people doing their own paperwork

the second ready is that the visa has been issued and is currently being processed for delivery

Then "issue" is posted and the visa has left the BIG house to YOUR house.

Once you get that second ready, it should be sent out within a few days, although we received our visa before any of the various websites that allow you to look up the status said that it had been sent out.

@An&Ak👏👏👏Congrats. So happy for you. I hope @Rahul thakurgets his soon too.

@Greenbaum, our status changed from immigrant Ready to Non Immigrant Application received day before yday. But today it is still non immigrant but from application received it changed to AP again. Any idea what’s going on ? From other members what I thought for K1 visa was once changed to non immigrant the next step is visa issued. Why did ours went bk to AP again ?
