Two weeks isn't much when it related to embassies (or visas/immigration).

Mumbai is India's only consular Post that handles ALL of India's immigration visa paperwork. They deal both with the ever expanding volume of current applications, on top of previous ones pending for whatever reason, such as 221Gs. It takes time for the evidence to make it from the drop-off location to the CO that has your file, to review the evidence for criteria, a Supervisor to sign off on an approval, and on from there.

I wonder why my status hasn't changed from Administrative Processing to Ready? Shouldn't it have changed to Ready after we dropped our evidence?

I submitted my additional documents on April 2nd and received a letter asking for my passport on April 5th. I don't believe the status changes from AP until you send in the passport because that is when it can technically move forward from the "Administrative processing" phase.  Good luck!

I don’t think that’s always true as we submitted our documents on 12th & status changed from AP to Ready two days after that. After that there was a date change twice & then we got request for passport. Once we submitted passport saw another date change but silent since then. So hoping something happens this week

See my date changed once when we dropped off everything and nothing since. I was able to track the passport but now there’s nothing. Total silence

Yes that's what we got. We filed k1. For shared finances we turned in money transfer between each other. It passed. For wedding vendors I went and got 3 basic photographer quotes, I didn't purchase anything. I just asked for their price sheet. I turned it in and it passed. For a guest list I simply got a white sheet of paper wrote names of people who know of both of us their name and phone number only, that's all we submitted for guest list. It passed.

I also got this same thing in 221g letter

Whatever was dropped off is likely being reviewed, and at times, things don't get updated online. Mumbai has serious volume.

Thankyou for this info. I didn’t know the 221g doc goes to the same officer before it gets to the supervisor

@ujones and I are each other's cheerleaders this week! Praying for good news

And not that we get any say about the CO officer reviewing everything, but I hope the Supervisor can see all the evidence we submitted makes us legit

From what I read it will get issued soon once it changes to non immigrant. My fiancé submitted his passport on 22nd & mine still shows immigrant. Congrats.
