We got the passport with Visa in 10 days after submitting the passport. What is your current status?

It's been two weeks with no response at this time. Everything was submitted on the 18th and updated on 19th. Silence since. Tried emailing and got a generic response back. Planned on calling the American line today to see if anything different is told. I'm getting more and more nervous as our wedding date gets closer and closer.

Dear Applicant,

Thank you for writing to the U.S. Visa Service Desk.

We understand that you would like to know your visa application status.

In response to your question, our records indicate that the visa application is under processing at the Embassy or Consulate. Most administrative processing is resolved within 60 days of your visa interview or the submission of supplemental documents, whichever is later. When additional administrative processing is required, the length of processing time will vary based on the circumstances of each case, hence it cannot be expedited.

Please be assured that once the processing is completed or if the consular section needs further information, you will be contacted.

In case anyone is interested to know: Calling is a waste of time. Unless you've received some kind of notification, don't call. I waited 30 mins. to be told the same thing the email response said and CEAS website said... verbatim! Literally, read off the prompt.

I hate to go into a rant but this is insane! My fiance and I have a real relationship and love for each other. With every day that passes, we struggle to stay positive and this whole thing has tested our relationship to no end. I have never felt so helpless in my entire life. I'm hot! My stress level has reached a new hight during this time. I know everyone here can understand this feeling and all I can do is pray. Pray that everything will be okay.
