Hi everybody! I’m on day 5 of waiting for packet 3 from Guangzhou. Does the website say anything when p3 goes out? I see people waiting a week up to a month and wishing there was a clearer pattern. Also, do I need to do anything at this point?

I read that the consulate in Guangzhou will call first, this thread might offer you further insight:

Good luck with everything!!

They don't always call.

I'd been checking our CEAC status a couple times a day.  It stayed stuck on "Ready" for ~14 days, then the "Case Last Updated" date changed to the current date for ~2 days in a row, then it briefly (less than 1 day) switched to "Administrative Processing", then back to "Ready".  EMS delivered the P3 about 2-3 days later (Guangzhou to Shenzhen, very close).

You were perfectly right! It switched to AP and then we got the email with the EMS number. Thank you 😊
