If you do a search of VJ, you'll see that this has happened to others before. Usually when an interview has been descheduled there was one scheduled before, and the advice on that has usually been to go to the canceled interview anyway. Some people have been denied AOS for missing an interview that was cancelled.

However, since yours was never scheduled, you don't have a date or time for this non-existant interview right? I would say, schedule an infopass appointment to find out what's going on. Perhaps USCIS has a random email generator...

I had the same thing happen to me. I phoned the misinformation line and made an infopass. This was when I was in the process of moving and had e-filed the AR-11.

All sorted and now have an interview date.

I think someone hit the wrong button but definately find out what is happening with your case.

I 130 & I129F (K3) and AOS info in timeline

I had the exact thing occur. I made an infopass appointment and was told...All applications had been sent this letter. Even ones that had never been scheduled for an interview in order to avoid a possible mix up if a letter for an interview had accidentally been sent????

Seems like it is a big waste and causing a great deal of confusion. The person was extremely rude as well.
