FINS # in US Visa

I have read that if you have a FINS # you are subject to 'special registration'. Special registration is to do with the NSEERS- entry and exit program, and as I understand it is only for non-immigrants.

I have a FINS # on my tourist visa- last year I was refused admission into the US at the POE and withdrew my application for admission to the US- (we were given incorrect information from INS call centre in regard to my entry after marriage with tourist visa and was told I could adjust status this way)

There is also a notation of this withdrawal application in my passport with A (7) (a) (i), I have read up about the A (7) (a) (i) and know this refers to immigrant intent.

I read somewhere somebody said that if you have this FINS # you have been deported- can this be? (seing as I withdrew my application for admission)

Our K3 has been approved and made it's way to the Consulate. I just want to be prepared for my interview at the Consulate and would like to hear from any of you guys who knows anything about this.

I received no documentation from the POE officer.

I would also like to know if this means that my tourist visa has been cancelled. Not that I want to enter the US on my tourist visa(thats what the K3 is for), this is just a question for all the paperwork that I still have to fill in- one of the questions: has your visa ever been cancelled or revoked....

Thanx all!
