Good day everyone,

We were out of our normal processing time two days ago and we filled the online form for enquiry... We got a response to expect a reply by February 7 2019.... Please what should we expect even though we had tried expediting our case around December due to petitioner medical reasons and we got a response that says our case is being adjudicated and we should expect a response in 45days.... The 45days is approximately February 3 2019.... The wait is just frustrating

Medical is a very hard sell for expediting.  Unfortunately all you can do is wait.  With our K-1 last year we did congressional inquiries and CIS Ombudsman inquiries.  They did not make a difference.  We were approved when we were approved.  It took us over 9 months.  Things are much quicker now so you should hear something soon.  Every time you do an inquiry the answer will ALWAYS be you should have a response in 45 days!  Just be patient and focus on the love not the process.  This is only the first step.  Don't get too crazy yet.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

We all know how frustrating the wait is.  You will probably just receive another generic email with the same response.  I wouldn't expect much  more than what you received.  I received that same thing a couple of different times.  They have picked up your file and doing all the necessary checks.

Obviously the specifics of the need for an expedite are the critical factor. The process for the expedite isn't hard. What qualifies for an expedite is a different story.
