I have been up over 48 hours... stressed out... sleeping pills don't work... when I do sleep it is for a couple of hours... I feel close to breaking... with no end in sight... I fought with Paul the day before... over something stupid... I tell you I do not know how long I can deal with this... coz I feel really close to snapping.

Paul and I met on the Bazaar on the 14th January (he joined my progressive rock forum that day)

July 3rd he flew to England to meet me

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

It has been so long and so much has happened in between...

Anita, I have been there so many times and found that the support on here just picked me right up again. It's only natural to feel like you do, try to do some "stress free" time, yoga, bath time with candles, long walks, even in the rain it is thereaputic.

It is hard and these feelings will keep coming until it is all over for you, you have the support of us all,

Loads of ****hugs**** to you I hope that you will feel better about things soon (F)

*hugs* darlin'. I can image how this is playing on your nerves and causing your stress levels to go through the roof. Have you PM'd Mellie yet to find out the course of events with her I-129f petition that she ended up abandoning because of the same issues and yet it was there in her file at the consulate for their DCF interview. I dont know if it will help any but there may be something that will give you an idea of what is happening with your petition.

Hang in there sweetie (F)(F)

You know it is all of you that get me through this... you are there just encouraging me... supporting me... I do so greatly appreciate it... I did send Mellie a message yesterday Lorelle... I have been struggling to tell you the truth... if only someone would tell us what is going on... they won't tell me and they won't tell Paul either. But I should rmember that there are some who are going through a lot worse and for far longer... but you know when I see people being approved, getting their visa etc... am really happy for them but it leaves me wondering why me??? I should stop focussing on that and instead think of the many like Mary or Gironha who have been dealing with high stress for far longer - and their ituation is far more difficult... and yet they are there constantly supportive... /me feels like a spoilt brat

Melo... i'm praying for ya sweetie... you have friends here who care...

I wish that I could take the stress from you...

Listen and try some of what everyone has said... I have found that when I get stressed out... a long, hot bubble bath works wonders... and sometimes, i just turn the music on as loud as it will go... and just SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*lotsa lotsa lotsa hugs*

Thank you all so very much... I am going to Agra in the morning... to buy things like stone elephants... and maybe see the Taj one last time before I leave... I need to focus on something else and am therefore visiting Agra - thinking of buying a stone table too for my home with Paul whenever that happens.

Thanks so much all of you... truly you help me deal with this and get through this.

Awwww Melo....I am right there with you! I had my first major panic attack yesterday. Totally freaked me out. Thought I was having a heart attack. We all need to lean on each other during these stressful times. Hope you are feeling better and getting some well needed sleep.

Aaawww, hang in there, Melo. Things WILL get better and those little "fights" are only stress-related, nothing serious.

When I see couples in the streets I always ask myself too, why can't I be with my loved one? Why do I have to go through this stressful and loooong immigration process? Why can't we just be together? But then I remember how privileged I already am because I found my true love and even if we're not together, we have so much more than some other people will ever have. Maybe remembering that will help you too.

Hope you feel better soon!
