My medical record shows I have ADHD, although I'm unmedicated. Will the medical exam (London) request more info from my GP about this? If so, what will they request? Documents about my diagnosis or something else?

This is what I read...

 

At the time you attend the medical examination, you will be required to provide the following:

  • Photo identification (e.g. driving licence, passport);
  • 4 photographs which meet Department of State requirements;
  • For applicants aged 16 and over, a UK police certificate (known as an ACRO) issued within the past 6 months;
  • Vaccination records, which can be obtained from your regular healthcare provider. If you are unable to obtain your vaccination record, you should consult with the panel physician at the time of your appointment.  The vaccination chart is available here, as a PDF (187Kb);
  • Completed medical questionnaire, which can be downloaded here, as a PDF (68

"I had to get a letter from my son's pediatrican about his ADHD. The civil surgeon said that this was necessary and that it needed to be included with the medical."

The ADHD post is more than 12 years ago.  Understanding of and treatment for ADHD has come a long way in 12 years.  Self harm is a far cry from ADHD
