N-600 without physical GC (split)

Hi ...i successfully applied and received my Daughter's Passport and Passport Card because i am a Naturalized Citzen,,my problem now is that the DOS didn't return my Original Green Card and gave me the letter indicating it was sent to USCIS,,...I have all tje Requirements for N-600(Certificate of Citzenship) except the Permanent Resident/Green Card.....Can i send a Copy of the Passport and Letter to explain???

You don't have a certificate of naturalization? How did you become a citizen?

I have my Certificate of Naturalization but would like to apply for a Certificate of Citzenship(N-600)for my Daughter who already has a U.S. Passport but the problem is her Green Card was not returned when i applied for her Passport

You don't need the green card anymore since you're already citizens.

I never filled the N600 for my younger two that got derivative citizenship from me, but I wanted to say after I got their passports we did get their green cards  back. I find it very strange they did that. I read others threads that the GC was always returned. 

 

I hope others can help with the N600 part without GC.

Just looked over the instructions supper quick. It asks for a copy. Any chance you have a copy somewhere?

I want to share what exactly i did when i applied for my Daughter's N600 without a Green Card nor its Copy...i looked in my Documents and got the that Letter with which the Green Card was sent,,this letter had all the Details ie Her Names,Address,The Green Card Number and the Receipt Number and it worked USCIS Accepted she is line for the Oath!!..Hope this helps someone who is in the same situation i was in!!!.
