Husband came with K-1 and we got married, do i need to file I-130 too?

Hello

My husband came from the Dominican Republic with a K-1 fiance visa and we got married in less than the 90 required days. We are now trying to apply for his adjustment of status. Question: do we have to include the I-130 Petition for Alien Relative? or the fact that we have an approved I-129 and a valid K-1 visa is sufficient to only have the I-485 Adjustment of Status application submitted for him? Appreciate your responses.

No I130 needed.

File I485 (with supplemental I864).

I765.

I131.

There is no need to file a I-130 because your husband is already on the K1 visa. You just need to file the I485, I765, I131, and the I864. Follow the guide below and you will be fine:
