Thanks for your response, I already contacted with congress member and their response after a month was that the Texas center waiting for National benefit center to response. Which is completely different than what USCIS told me when I called which was the file in the Field office and just wait. I don't really know what I shroud do now.

Aren’t you already had interview? So your case is in local office. And you are waiting for local office’s decision.

Yes, this what makes more sense, but what I have been told that they are still waiting for National Benefit Center, which confuses me.

How did the interview go? Was your spouse with you? Did IO asked you questions about your marriage?

Yes, she was with me, but the officer was so aggressive with me. He was asking many weird questions regarding tax, W2, rent, cars titles, etc. then he did English and civic exam. I passed, then he said will send me N-14. but nothing happens for 75 days.

So, technically they have to make a decision in next 120 days after the interview, however sometimes it takes longer. It’s all depends on the local office and how backlogged that office is. What is your local office?

Dc, i'm afraid will take longer than 120 days. IDK what to do it's so frustrating.

Well, all we can do is wait. At least we are legal, can work and travel. If 120 days pass, reach out again to your congressman for help.

Will do,

thanks for your concern.

Are you done with them, or you still waiting?

I’m still waiting for the interview. Case is in local office for last 4 months, still no interview. Overall i751 is pending for over 22 months. No I didn’t file n400.

Oh wow, sorry to hear that. Why you didn't aooly for N-400?

I don’t really need it, so I didn’t apply at the 3 year mark cause it wasn’t important. And now it’s too late, I definitely don’t want to apply and over complicate my case, it’s already so late.

I see, good luck. hopefully we get this done soon.

I'm a bit frustrated and not sure what to do at this point, IF there's anything I can do. So we submitted our I-751 back in May 2017. Since then we received an extension letter and have had passport stamped TWICE. Still no word that our case is moving along. What should I do to speed up the process??
