Your case will always belong to the original office, my case was transferred from Vermont to the NBC, I called then to the USCIS and they clearly told me to check on the Vermont center processing time since it doesn't matter where my case is

I-751. I initially called about my N400 and just asked while I was on phone with her what to expect with pending I-751 which was transferred as far as processing goes. She said that some offices don’t report the processing times on website but they can see in in their system. She was going to check but their systems were down so she told me to call back.

I guess you just need to wait until they will schedule an interview for your n400 and then they will do i751 interview before your n400, if you will have a combo interview make sure your comes with you, it's a must

Yes, I know. That’s why I am trying to figure out what to expect with I-751 especially since my husband is AD and is/will be gone a lot. That’s my only concern.

Absolutely nothing. My congressman made an inquiry for me 2 days ago. So, USCIS should respond in 30 days.

Hey VVP! Is there any update with your case?

Hello,

I have a situation not really similar to yours.

I had my interview for I-751 and N-400 on June 26. Since that date nothing happens. I just called USCIS to report hat my case out of the processing time, for both offices Vermont the original one and Texas the one got transferred to. the surprise was that they told me no your file has been sent to National Benefit center by the end of may and waiting response to be back in field office and the processing time is 22 to 39 month !!!! and N-400 couldn't get approved before I-751.

Does that make any sense to anyone, or anyone has any explanation?

Thanks.

Yes, I think some of the local offices are actually that slow. I recommend reaching out to your senator or congressman. Let them reach out to USCIS, sometimes it helps. I gave up on submitting meaningless inquiries to USCIS, they always answer something generic, like ‘your case is taking longer to process, oh well...’

Thanks for your response, I already contacted with congress member and their response after a month was that the Texas center waiting for National benefit center to response. Which is completely different than what USCIS told me when I called which was the file in the Field office and just wait. I don't really know what I shroud do now.
