We submitted I751 and information back in May 2017 to California Service Center. Finally two years later, we received a RFE in June 2019. Just a couple of weeks ago, we received a letter stating that our case is being transferred to Lee's Summit, MO. Does anyone know about how long it'll sit there before we hear something?? 😨

Yes, we received a RFE in June due to them not having any documents for May 2017-June 2019. We submitted everything in May 2017 so there was no way we had 2019 info 🤣 Then earlier this month, we received another letter stating our case was transferred. It reads "We have completed a preliminary review of the application or petition listed above. We transferred your case to the following USCIS office listed below so an interview can be scheduled." And then it has the Lee's Summit address. Hopefully they won't take too long. I was worried because it was over two years before we ever heard anything from them.

There is 2 type of letters about the transferring, one of them says - so interview can be scheduled, and second one says - we will notify you if we need anything from you, so you got the first time, so did I, I was waiting for the interview to be scheduled but instead of that I got an approval, so 26 days since my case was transferred, they transferred my case from Vermont to MO 18 month since I applied at first

Absolutely nothing. My congressman made an inquiry for me 2 days ago. So, USCIS should respond in 30 days.

Why don't you apply for n400? Now you can apply and also pay the fee online, no need to send anything

I don’t need it. Apply just to speed up I-751? Well I don’t think it’s my case. My local office’s processing time for n400 is 25 months. Even if I applied at 3year mark, I would still be waiting. I have 2 friends who applied already. One had interview in April this year and still not approved. The other friend is waiting for a year and a half for an interview and nothing. I don’t need this overcomplication. I just want resolution to my i751. If I’m lucky, my company would send me to different office in different state next year, so maybe I’ll apply there.

I understand, my good friends mom applied for n400 on Jun 16th this year, got a biometric appointment on July 1st

for July 11th and yesterday she got an interview scheduled for August 2nd, so I guess it really depends on the state and the city you live in

What is your local office? And what is the local office of the friend who’s mom got this fast interview?

Hey Miki28, there is no such thing as processing time for the NBC, if you originally filled at SRC you still must check on the the Texas processing time, hope that's help
