I'm a bit frustrated and not sure what to do at this point, IF there's anything I can do. So we submitted our I-751 back in May 2017. Since then we received an extension letter and have had passport stamped TWICE. Still no word that our case is moving along. What should I do to speed up the process??

You gotta apply for citizenship as fast as you can, especially now, when you can do it online (including the payment) and especially when the test will be changed in October 2020, you have a right to apply for citizenship while your I751 is pending, as long you've been still married to the same person you've gained your conditional green card from, and as long as you passed 2 years and 9 month since you were approved for your conditional green card at first, good luck!

You can contact your local congressman or senator and asked them to make an inquiry to USCIS on your behalf to check the status of your petition. Also, did you submit inquiries that case is out of processing time? If so, what was their response? Yes, you can also file for citizenship. You had your passport stamped twice. Have you asked where is your case and why is it taking so long?

I am going through the same thing. We submitted for AOS in November 2017. We even went through the N-400 interview, where the guy was stunned that the Green Card interview hadn't been done. They then gave us thirty days to produce evidence for everything from 2017 to 2019 that chronicled our story. On August 28th, we received notice that it was transferred to Lee's Summit. Since then, nothing. Not even an idea how long it will take: Savva was over in a month, VVP is holding on for a long time. The local office is San Bernardino. There seems to be no consensus on how long this nonsense takes, but at the 120 day mark I am contacting my local representative. This has been going on for two years now, so it is out of processing time.

I contacted my state representative and they said that our local office, Dallas, is currently processing May 2016 AOS submissions. When we called USCIS to inquire we were told it could take anywhere from 20 to 40 months from when they receive the application. So according to them, we are within the processing time 😩

Hello, I have news. I’m scheduled for interview on November 21st. This was given to me by the representative from my local congressman. I haven’t received any updates from USCIS yet, no status updates or any mail yet. I think they literally scheduled it today because it was a second congressional inquiry. My case today is pending for exactly 2 years.

Where’s your local office ? Did you apply with a divorce waiver ?

My local office is Baltimore, MD. No, my i751 was regular joined petition. But actually, I did get divorced just recently. I literally got my divorce decree last week.

Hey VVP! So happy for you! Even though you are scheduled for the interview, it's still better for just waiting! Good luck!

Yes, thank you! Waiting is the worst. I’ll keep you guys posted once I have the interview.

What was your original service ? Was it from nbc ?

My original service center was Vermont. After rfe response they sent me a transfer notice to Lee Summit, Missouri to schedule an interview. That transfer was on April 3rd, 2019. Only now I’m scheduled finally.

Hello all! I finally got my official interview notice in a mail. Exactly 2 weeks before the interview, I actually started worrying why I wasn’t receiving it. It looks really weird. Feels like they used somebody else’s letter and just entered my name in it.  The petition number is wrong, the c/o name is wrong. It’s a mess. At least date and time match.

So when's that for?

From my local office. When my local office emailed my congressman they claimed that they mailed the interview notice to me on October 29th. However I’m looking at the stamp on the envelope. It’s November 5th, 7 days later. And I got it in mail today, November 7th. Not much time to prep at all, exactly 14 days to gather any evidence and list of evidence they want is huge!
