How long after Entering under Ir-1 to receive SSN'?

So I entered the US 2 days ago under IR-1, and in my ds-260, I requested for my SSN to be issued. My wife and I were talking today and we need to apply for a business loan and the bank required my SSN, and it is time sensitive. I went to https://save.uscis.gov/CaseCheck/SearchResultList.aspx and entered the information and it said there was "No cases found that match the search criteria".

I was wondering is there anyway we can track the status of my SSN, or if there was anything we can do to speed it along.

Thank you!

On a side question, will the government shutdown effect the issuance of SSN?

SSA is not currently affected

YMMV

just an FYI I have seen people at DS-260 request a ssn to be issued also and 3 months later have yet to get it, you can always go to the SSA and apply the worst case they will tell you that one is already in process.

My husband did as well, however my plan is to go right down to the SS office and apply to get it faster.

I know the green card in the mail comes pretty fast.

I am worried that I will apply for an ssn and it will be sent to me and then they will issue another one based on the information provided by DHS. If that were to happen could it lead to any issues?

it is unlikely that will happen, since the DS 260 will filled and you entered they would have started the process already, and it would be flagged when you go to apply for one it would tell them there is already one in the system.
