DWI (petitioner) occured while waiting for NOA2 of K1

As the subject suggests, this happened 

Is there something we need to do? Like do we need to inform uscis? Or we just wait? How do you think this will affect our case

 

My fiance deeply regret what happened, so im hoping for kind advice...

Since this happened  after  you filed in August it should  not be a factor.  This did happen after you filed your petition right? But I would collect all the paperwork  i.e.  arrest records, court  case and have that in case they ask you about it later. But no  I would not inform  USCIS about it. Also you'll need the final disposition of the DWI charge and case. You will definitely  need all this later when you file for other  immigration benefits.

Yes it happened after k1 filed.. 

The case in ongoing.. Next court date is on 29jan..thank you.. Will definitely keep all records..

In my readings this is more a problem for the beneficiary if they had received the arrest for the DWI/DUI. Further information is here:

I just Hope that it will not cause a problem in the rest of the procedure

you'll need to keep these documents FOREVER.

10-15yrs down the line, this case can come up when the courts have no more records of this case

thank you, we will keep these records for sure.

 

but i just want to check, according to your response, 10-15yrs down the line, do you think this will play a part with the beneficiary's journey to citizenship (if she decided to)? since the this is petitioner's record/arrest.
