ok, from those who got an interview date...it seems a little pattern is showing like:

those who completed NVC in:

april, may= november interview

june,july=december interview

aug, sept= january interview

oct, nov= february interview

Makes some sens? of course it does not count the delays for some reasons...

It makes sense, unless they are getting back to their old timeline, which would make the waiting only about 2 months between case completion and interview. If that is the case, they could very well squeeze you in before the end of the year, too!

I would not try to read too much into when your interview will be. Even though there are many here who got their interviews, Montreal still appears to be in a mode where it is all or nothing. In our case when we started two months was the norm, it was not until April-May that we caught wind of a problem in Montreal. I would plan for a worse case senario, and anything else is a gift. I wish me and the wife had planned it that way, it would have not been so stressful.

Yes does make sense, will be interesting to see when you are scheduled for an interview. You are the only one not in the 'flurry' of interviews so it will be a good indicator.

As Misty mentioned though, it could also mean that after the general catching up they are doing now that yours will be scheduled sooner - hope so!

Received my interview letter from NVC today! The count-down is ON!

I received two interview letters today; one for my father and one for my father. I'm sure my mother's letter will arrive sometime before December. The letters were mailed out on October 18, if that means anything.

Hmm that's strange. Then again, this is NVC we're talking about, we expect odd things like that to happen.

Just wait til your parents arrive, and they receive 6+ welcome letter each!

Yep, ours were in the mailboxes today in Texas and Ontario, letters dated Oct 12. Both were to my hubby, however.

The one I got, actually to my hubby, talked about family members listed on the next page who are supposed to come too, but all it shows is hubby, I think that's normal but... just checking... I can go to the interview too, right?

Yep, ours were in the mailboxes today in Texas and Ontario, letters dated Oct 12. Both were to my hubby, however.

The one I got, actually to my hubby, talked about family members listed on the next page who are supposed to come too, but all it shows is hubby, I think that's normal but... just checking... I can go to the interview too, right?

Yes, you can attend too! The only reason that other page is there is to list children of the benificiary, if they are also applying for visas

Misty, oh that would be great...i was expecting the long run, so we'll see...

Dave, our problem is the reverse, we were prepared to wait long time and now that's faster we are caught with the pants down so to speak: not so ready...i have a million of things to do...

Yup, but if they go bi-monthly, that means you can be scheduled also around february or before!...that would be nice!

In any case...all this little statistic was calculated from the 5 members who have been scheduled since the last 5 days or so...So let's see if this path will continue!...
