Yes, I can understand that. I would personally be calling every day - but that's me.

Out of curiosity, why did Karina get her interview so quickly, any reason anyone is aware of?

hello to everyone,

here is the thing: I am waiting for NVC to update its automated responce on phone-call that they have recieved our AOS fee bill payment and that they have entered it into the system...but nothing yet! The automated message says this when i called them today since they update it on tuesdays i read here somewhere: " The Immigration Visa fee bill was generated on OCt 1 and will be mailed out to the agent within next few weeks"....

Well, when do u think they will send our IV bill and how long does it take for them to enter our AOS bill into the system?

I am at this point worried that they might have lost out AOS fee bill payment since i am reading that they are missing documents of people in NVC!

Hi there,

If I recall correctly, it took them a couple weeks to receive and process our AOS fee payment as well, so I wouldn't start to worry yet! If your timeline is correct, and you sent the payment Sept. 25th, it could still take them another week or so, especially with how slow NVC has been lately. I rarely hear of cases where they actually lose paperwork you send them, but being pokey with how quickly they process things is what they are famous for.

Another thing, you could try speaking to a live person since they will be able to tell you alot sooner than you'd be able to hear it from the automated voice system when they receive your payment.

Hi pari,

According to James's shortcuts, the automated message doesn't actually update when the NVC receives the affidavit of support fee bill - also says it doesn't update when the I-864 is generated (and I can't remember off the top of my head but I believe that is true).

Therefore the only way to find out these things is to speak with an operator at NVC, once you have dialled through press 1 then 5 to speak to an operator.

For us - I mailed our AOS fee bill on July 3rd, they acknowledged they had received it on July 13th - about 6 days of that would have been for express post mail delivery. They generated the IV fee bill on July 16th and I received it in the mail here (Canada) on August 2nd.

Anyway, I would give them a call and see where they are up to. As you probably already know, Tuesday can be a hard day to get through to an operator, but if you keep trying eventually you will get through

For AoS related things, you'll need to talk to an NVC operator.

i guess since i am at work as of now..i will try calling NVC when i go home. and will of course update u if there is anything new!

Wow an actual update to something on this timeline table!! Congrats to Knowledge - finished with NVC.
