DS-160 Employment History

Hello,

So after getting through majority of the DS-160 after 4 attempts due to crashing/refreshing randomly I'm almost there. However I've held more than 3 positions in the last 5 years and when attempting to select "Add another" while on the web page, it's not allowing me to do so? 

 

Anyone have any idea if this is normal and inform them on the day or?

I feel your pain... when i had to fill my DS-160 out it drove me insane from the site crashes!

 

I couldn’t fit my other employment information either & it was not an issue for me at my interview 😊

Perfect, thank you! 

 

I've gotten to the end and it's 95% likely it's going to cost me a new laptop. So the photo crop doesn't work on chrome, then on Edge and selecting save on the cropped photo it just saves it as a "File" which I then can only open in paint and isn't cropped.

Np! You would think they would have a better site for a form regularly needed by lots of people

 

I didnt have trouble with the photo, hopefully someone else can help you with that, sorry! Good luck at your interview, London is so friendly 😊

Thank you for the wishes 🙂 I think I'll get there just fighting with paint as we speak...

Just want to back this up as I had the same issue - I had 2 other jobs I needed to add but it wouldn't let me, it caused me no issues 👍

DS-160 now complete, laptop also still intact. 

 

Immigrant visa to apply for now through the website but will wait a little for that as my medical isn't until February so there's time to pay out and then arrange an interview

I also was unable to upload a photo - my laptop almost went out of the window. I just went along with my 2 US style passport photos and was absolutely fine.  Good luck!!

I managed to play about in paint, a few choice words, many more worse words, a breather, some more swearing and sorted! 

 

Will be taking passport photos of both UK/US in just to be safe also when we eventually book. I'm glad to hear you had no issues also though 🙂 Always settling to see. Thank you again!

There are apps for your phone that will help resize your passport photos to the size that you need for any occasion.

You sir are truly something else! I'll be sure to keep this for future when I see people struggling. I unfortunately, decided to fight with junk but it was accepted and that's the main!

Let me share what is behind the curtain (Wizard of Oz reference). I use OneNote to file all these tidbits of information. I have a huge file of what I have seen people struggle with and therefor out of the blue I have their answer. I don't have all the answers but I do have quite a few.

Considering I got dubious clicking "Immigrant" or "nonimmigrant" visa when looking to schedule an appointment, you're all knowing 😛
