Hi,

As i wait for my NOA2 to come thru over the next couple of weeks, i have one questions in my head, what is the petitioner and benificiary required to do once the NOA2 is approved for the I-129 and I-130, all of us March filers are waiting for our approvals in the next 3 to 4 weeks(optomistic),

This is the way i understand it;

1) NOA2 issued.

2) Goes to NVC.

3) Goes to Embassy where marriage occured(Chennai, India).

4) Embassy looks at approved pettition and sends out Packet 3 to beneficiary.

5) Beneficiary fills out contents of Packet 3 and sends back to Embassy.

6) Embassy looks thru contents of Packet 3 and sends out to Packet 4.

7) Benificiary completes all requirments of Packet 4 and reports for the Interview on the Interview Date.

8) Interview Succesful Visa issued.

Also i filed my application for I-129 at the end of March and got my NOA1 issue date of April 4th; am i still considered a march filer ?

I am happy you are approved citizen, its about time for you, i am suprised it took so long for you.....;

do you feel that the process after NOA2 is more complex than the original I-129 and I-130, there seem to be a lot of forms in that packet 3, also the medical and police record seems to be complicated. what are you thoughts.

also what are you thoughts on the chennai embassy....; i wish we had a seperate thread for those going thru chennai....

come over to the foreign embassy/consulates section, we shall start a new topic for chennai consulate

i read here from delhi consulates that, once u come to know that NVC sent package to delhi consulate, u can email them and skip the packet 3 , since the delhi consulate, on it's website has all the reqd docs in packet 3 to download..

Delhi is kind of acting weird. As I posted on a different thread, one of my friend got her interview date scheduled just a week after Delhi received K3. He was told the interview date and also that packet 4 has been sent to him. NO PACKET 3? :unsure:
