I am wondering what I missed! 

From what I've researched is that it can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months. As I've mentioned, people have got approved after 3 months but it's just not guaranteed. Have you had any RFE before?

I didn't want to make it seem as I came off harsh because really I sympathize for you, I was in your somewhat similar shoes, but really I had no reason given he was just handed a paper for AP, that was the biggest unknown and through my life upside down.

 

so trust me when I tell you I know how you feel, but really nobody would have an answer for you they can only speculate I am sorry :( 

My fiance also felt like the whole thing was staged, they don't even look at the evidence then give you 221g
