Pre-Interview Checklist Question

Hi guys,

 

We are in the midst of organizing the required paperwork needed for the interview. However, we are unsure if I need to bring in the original i-864 signed form, or if a copy is okay?

We also submitted w2s and tax forms online, would I need to bring the originals for this as well.


Sorry, if this is a stupid question. I am really unsure.

You need to bring the original i-864 with a pen/ink signature, not a copy, that i know for sure.  I'm not 100% on the tax forms question, but i would bring the originals if possible.  They do ask you for all the original documents that you've previously uploaded already, so better safe than sorry.

Thank you for answering my question! I was hoping to get by with a copy, but I'll have my husband send me the original form now.
