Interview for Tourist Visa in Cebu Consulate?

My wife want's to have her sister come visit us here from Philippines.  For a tourist visa do they issue that in Cebu?

I believe it's all done in Manila unfortunately.

You know almost everything in the that country has to go through Manila which sucks for those of us with family in Mindanao and the Visayas.

Was just hoping they would issue tourist visa.  And her sister lives about 5 minutes form the Cebu consulate. Oh well, looks like we are gonna have to fly her to Manila.

No they don't visa interviews at Cebu location

 

If you loose your US passport they can issue you another one at the Cebu location

Cebu no longer has a Consulate;  it was closed in the mid-to-late 1990's.  There is only a US Consular Agency in Cebu now.  Its purpose is to provide primarily emergency services to US citizens in the area.  They also provide notarial services and can accept US passport renewal applications.  They have nothing to do with visas, either immigrant or non-immigrant, as there are no consular officers at the Consular Agency to adjudicate them.
